2024-10-08 9:30AM – Update: Hurricane Milton Business Continuity Plan Activated

Trax activated its Business Continuity Plan earlier in the week. Now we are entering the Warnings phase (per Section 13.3.3.) where we close our operation in our Headquarters to allow Traxers to shelter in place where it is safest for them to be during the hurricane.

Milton is due to arrive 36 to 48 hours from now. Miami-Dade is expected to receive 40-60 miles per hour winds and rain with a mild surge in ocean levels.

Trax offices will be closed on Wednesday with the entire team working remotely. On Thursday, if the Hurricane has cleared with Tropical Storm Warnings lifted, Trax will reopen its Headquarters. Part of the team that lives in Broward will continue to work remotely on Thursday as the County has announced that schools will remain closed.

Support lines will remain open while our support teams remain connected. We do not anticipate any catastrophic damage to South Florida that would affect our teams working remotely.

Stay tuned to our Business Continuity site for updates. There may be changes as the hurricane approaches.
