Hurricane Milton's outer rain bands are coming onshore near Tampa to Sarasota now and the eye of the hurricane will come onshore by tonight. 2024-10-08 5:30PM – Update: Hurricane Milton – Closures Extended thru Thursday
Trax activated its Business Continuity Plan earlier in the week. Now we are entering the Warnings phase (per Section 13.3.3.) where we close our operation in our Headquarters to allow Traxers to shelter in place where it is safest for them to be during the hurricane. Trax offices will be closed on Wednesday & Thursday

Trax activated its Business Continuity Plan earlier in the week. Now we are entering the Warnings phase (per Section 13.3.3.) where we close our operation in our Headquarters to allow Traxers to shelter in place where it is safest for them to be during the hurricane. Both Miami-Dade & Broward County have made announcements of their closing schedules. Trax will be closed on Wednesday as both County Schools will be closed. Trax is tracking Milton. Both Miami-Dade & Broward County have still not made any announcements at this time. Based on the current cone of concern we anticipate closures to be announced on Tuesday afternoon to allow for preparations. Trax is tracking Milton. Both Miami-Dade & Broward County have not made any announcements at this time. Based on the current cone of concern we anticipate closures to be announced 36 hours prior the storm's arrival. The current estimate for these announcements to be made late Tuesday.
